In case of problems with the boat, sickness or accident during the stay, you can count on the expertise of Europ Assistance to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Repatriation, towing, medical expenses, return of accompanying persons...(more information in the T&C)

Refund of the deposit + Cancellation insurance + Assistance

The deposit refund insurance reimburses you the amount kept by the boat's renter in the event of material damage to the pleasure boat, subject to observing the conditions of navigation and use of the pleasure craft. A residual franchise of 10% of the deposit remains your responsibility. In case of problems with the boat, sickness or accident during the stay, you can count on the expertise of Europ Assistance to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Repatriation, towing, medical expenses, return of accompanying persons...In the event of illness or accident compelling you to cancel your rental, the sums paid will be refunded. In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions, unused rental days will be refunded (more information in the GTC).

  • How do I book a boat?Hey Captain allows you to check availabilities and compare boat prices departing from different cities. You choose the boat you wish, you check the characteristics and the services offered. The booking system allows you to know the fares when choosing a date and a duration for your rental and brings you till payment.
  • I would like a skipper because I don't have a license or the boat is too big.The payment of this service have to be paid on the spot in majority of the cases before the departure because it is an independent service of the hiring. If the service of "Skipper" is present on the motor boat that you wish to rent, we invite you to select it.   • What's included in the price ?The fare includes the rental of the boat, the initial briefing, the advice, the security equipment. Most of the times, additional benefit is available to add (Skipper / food/ consumables/ sheets/ dinghy) but that changes form boat to boat. The fare does not include what you consume onboard, the additional services and the captain/ skipper.
  • What if the weather doesn't allow to go out ?It’s the renter who decides to let you go out at sea. If the weather does not allow it, the rental will be delayed or canceled. After your booking, you will have the renter’s contact details who is going to call you, or the opposite. Every renter works differently but they are first of all business people. It’s the Captain who has chosen them!
  • Can I cancel my booking ?In this case you need to send us an official document proving the reason of your cancellation ! The renters have different cancellation policies which depend on seasons and the time between the cancellation request and the day of rental.
